The seventh full-length novel in the critically acclaimed series from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Alyssa Day . . .

The most unexpected of all allies to Poseidon’s warriors has proven to be the fiercest—Daniel, the vampire and Night Guild mage. But even the strongest alliance can be destroyed when an 11,000 year old desire is reborn. A princess of ancient Atlantis has awakened to a deadly mission she must retrieve a lost jewel of Poseidon’s Trident or die trying. Will the man she once loved, now turned to the night, become her darkest enemy . . . or her consuming passion?

A vampire’s oath, a maiden’s quest…
Daniel, vampire and ally of the Warriors of Poseidon, has fought on the side of humanity—even against his fellow creatures of the night—for more than 11,000 years. But the crushing weight of futility and the reality of always being starkly, utterly alone has forced him to finally give into despair. He took the first step into the sunlight that would destroy him—and instead walked into Atlantis.

And the blackest of magic that could consume them both.
11,000 years ago, Serai agreed to be placed into magical stasis, as one of a group of maidens who would ensure the future of the Atlantean race. When a dark sorceress steals the gemstone that protects Serai’s sisters, she awakens to a vastly changed world—and the one man she could never, ever forget. She offers him a choice help her or lose her. With an ancient evil tracking their every step, these two star-crossed lovers will battle the darkest of magic and the treacheries of their own hearts.

Daniel had lived over 11,000 years. He was the Primator of vampires in the U.S. Congress and he was tired and ready to face the dawn. Serai had spent the last 11,000 years in a type of suspended animation. Promised to the Atlantean Royal Prince Conlan, she has been left in her stasis to hear those around her live their lives. When the stasis magic is interrupted Serai breaks free of her stasis and Atlantis with Daniel in tow.
If they can't find the jewel that's disrupting the magic, Serai and her sisters still in stasis will die, and Atlantis may never rise.

I have been waiting Daniel's book for what seems like forever. I am a HUGE fan of this series and Daniel was a favorite character of mine since the beginning. It was worth the wait, every agonizing second of it. Daniel has spent most of his vampiric life trying to atone for what he sees as his failures, the cross all noble heroes seem to bear. It is an admirable trait, but to paraphrase another favorite character of mine (shout out to the BDB) "Get off the cross, someone else needs the wood". Thankfully a pissed off Serai is just what he needs to smack him upside his "oh, so noble" head. Yeah, Serai is pissed, and with good reason. She was only 25 when put in stasis. (very young for an Atlantean) She knew her intended, Conlan, had married a human. Not that she loved Conlan, but still, she had waited millenia for him. When she escapes, Conlan wants to pull the kingly ruler card and order her back to Atlantis. She laid the verbal smack down on his butt and went about her merry way. My girl, Serai was channeling Sasha Fierce and taking no prisoners. She is woman, hear her roar.

Of course Alaric played a role in this book, along with his lady love Quinn. There are some major developments in their story line involving Jack (who really MUST have his own book). Lots of new characters and storylines evolving and making me anticipate the next book. I get so caught up in the story, I don't realize there's only a few pages left, and then I panic. This story had every emotional element known to man, love, lust, anger, hatred, laughter and joy and tear jerking sorrow. Yes, you might need a tissue or two. I can't recommend this series highly enough, and the Warriors of Poseidon are among the elite in romance heroes. Kudos to Ms. Day for a job well done.

Vampire in Atlantis Warriors of Poseidon edition by Alyssa Day Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews

Extremly diffucult to put this book down. Even though its part of a series you can read this without having read the previous ones.
The story between Daniel and Serai was so sweet! The fact that they knew each other back before Atlantis fell beneath the ocean was a great hook. Making Daniel into a Warrior of Poseidon made me smile -D! The story didn't seem classically perfect, but I enjoyed it like the rest of Alyssa Day's work! I would definitely tell people to read and enjoy this book! I liked how it kept mostly to the 2 main characters instead of jumping around a lot. I can not wait for the next book!!!
I hate to write a review before I have completed reading a book, but there's a first time for everything. I'm not even half way through this book and I have lost interest in it and am prepared to move on to something more intense. I can't pinpoint what it is about the story but it's not holding my attention. I love Daniel's character but for some reason I can't get into Serai's character. Most times when she does or says something I'm rolling my eyes. I will skim through the pages not to miss anything that will reference to future novels. My favorite book in the series was Justice's story -- LOVED IT. Now I'm looking forward to Alaric, Quinn and Jack's stories.
I really enjoyed reading this series. They were fun and very entertaining. I could not wait to read the next one when I finished one. I would love to have more to read of this series.
Excellent! Well worth the wait. The author, Alyssa Day, created a wonderful story for the hero and heroine as original inhabitants of Atlantis. Serai, the heroine, is 11,000 years old and will not be settled in a corner. Her hero, Daniel, has been a recurring character in this series and now we have his story. Yet the thread continues with Jack, Alaric, and Quinn and the coming battle between good and evil.
Vampires in Atlantis completely follows the story line of the previous books in the series. As always, the characters are fully developed and easy to get to know. The story is a little more humorous than the previous ones, but still grabs your heart strings in places. It's so easy to dive in to these stories and drift away to Atlantis, where dreams do come true.
Daniel, vampire and ally of the Warriors of Poseidon has fought on the side of humanity only to never have the one thing he wants most. Serai Princess of Atlantis has been in stasis for 11,000 years and must recover the Emperor Jewel to save her sisters still is stasis. Only together can they find what they can truly be.
