Enjoyed it...butYes, the dreaded 'But'... Groblek is good at writing this kind of story, but I think in trying to make it interesting, the story dragged on a little more than it needed to. Despite the need for Debbie to go in Sasha's womb because of her injuries, it was hard to visualize just how severe Debbie's injuries were. Groblek describes how Debbie was injured so badly that she would likely die...but in spite of this life-threatening condition, she still seemed capable of functioning to some degree prior to going inside Sasha's womb.
I don't want Groblek to think I'm nitpicking, but it would have added to the drama if Debbie's 'life-threatening injuries' were such that she was practically unable to function at all, necessitating her going into Sasha's womb. Despite it stating that she would die if she didn't, Debbie still seemed to be in less-than-dire circumstances.

Sasha Healing Womb edition by Groblek Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I am new to this genre, and was pointed in the direction of Groblek's stories by a friend. Boy, was I glad that I was! This lovely story, was a very good first introduction for me.Sweet and charming, with very well rounded characters and a great story. I loved the fact that with this story there was a great mix of fantasy and realism. I felt like everything I read was possible, like it really could happen in real life. And of course the hopeless romantic in me really appreciated the romantic storyline. If you're like me, and new to this genre, I heartily recommend giving this short story a shot.
Give me a story within a story and I'll stick around at least until the climax/payoff. Give me characters being people, falling in love, have complications, falling out of love, and I'll give you at least until you fail my expectations. But turn a normally horror'ish fetish item, unbirthing, in a loving, act of caring, healing, AND what could have been horrific is instead turned into "just part of the erotic romance"... You get a sociophobe to write a yummy grade review.
Groblek's attention to detail on the birthing process while playing around in an area normally reserved for the softest of sci-fi physics, was most interesting, and those details did wonders for setting up the story's eventual conflict and life threatening problem. But his finding a way to turn the normally gimmicky porn threesome into a plot twist erotic romance with non romantic triangle complications dripping all over the place... Totally yummy.
And super cool part? The book cover, says it all. You need not look any further than the cover to know where this is going and the largest complication.
Enjoyed it...but
